Guatemalan Television

Our apartment outside of Ciudad Vieja comes with cable television. Guatemalan cable television is interesting. Some programs, which originate in Guatemala, Mexico or other Latin American countries, are naturally in Spanish. Other programming, such as CNN-International and some other news channels, is in English. We get HBO and a few other movie channels that play English language movies with Spanish subtitles. Other movie channels are in Spanish without any subtitles. Like cable television in the United States, sometimes there is nothing worth watching.
